FAQs for Seminar Registration
|
- How do I register for the Seminar?
The url link will be provided via event registration announcement for you to access the Registration Form and you will be guided through the online registration.
- How do I know if I have been successful in my registration for the seminar?
You will receive an email notification to confirm that you have been successful in your registration, at the end of the online registration process
- When do I make payment for my registration?
Not to worry, we will forward to you our invoice for your follow up payment of seminar fees.
- How many concurrent tracks can I choose for the 2-day seminar programme?
There are two Concurrent Sessions (from 1530 to 1700 hrs on 27 Feb and 1100 to 1230 hrs on 28 Feb) in the seminar programme. You are required to select one of the five tracks for each of the Concurrent Sessions.
There is a limit to places for some venues used for concurrent sessions and workshops, you will be prompted by the online registration system on the status of places where the maximum number available has been taken up.
- Can I request to be on the waitlist for the track that is fully subscribed when I register online?
We have provided places for the wait list and if you are placed on the selected waitlist on registration, you will not be able to select another available track before the seminar.
- Do I have to select my Round up Summary cum Panel Session at registration of event?
Yes – please select your preferred session for the round up of the seminar tracks at the end of the seminar programme.
- Do I have to pay for pre or post seminar workshop?
For participants on the 2-day seminar registration, you are entitled to one complimentary pre-seminar or post-seminar workshop. You will only need to pay for additional workshop(s) that you may wish to attend.
For participants on the 1-day seminar registration, you will have to pay for the pre or post seminar workshops that you are keen to participate. The workshop fees are as follows:
- One-day workshop (8 hours duration) – S$150
- Half-day workshop ( 3 to 4 hours duration) – S$80
- What are the possible discounts given to interested registrants?
Discounts on seminar fees are accorded to MOE & Government Bodies at 10% and for the NTU Alumni members, you are entitled to 20% discount.
- Where are the venues for the seminar programme and will we be given directional maps to the locations?
The main venue for the seminar is at NTU LT 2A and the venues for the concurrent sessions include CED Video Production Room, LTs 11 to 14 at NTU. The workshops are scheduled at CED Video Production Room and SCE Multi Media Labs 1 ,2 and3.
We will provide directional maps (via email notification) to the different seminar venues nearer the date of the seminar.
- Do we have to select the Plenary and Panel Sessions in the programme?
Plenary and Panel Sessions for the Seminar are open to ALL participants and you do not need to select the sessions.
- Are there group discounts for the registraiton of event?
Yes, we do accord group discount of 10% to groups of three or more. You will need to write to us via teams@ntu.edu,sg and we will work with you on the registration process.
- Is it possible to replace the registration with another participant?
We do allow replacement of registration on case by case basis. Please forward such requests to team@ntu.edu.sg and we will review the case and revert on the replacment status via email. We accept such requests till 20 February 2008 5.00 pm to faciltiate our management of the registrants list for preparation fo the seminar event.
